The Senior Lawyers Division sponsors an exciting statewide Law Day Essay Contest and encourages all local Bars to participate! For the past several years the Spartanburg County Bar Association, under the leadership of Judge Mark Hayes, has sponsored an essay contest on constitutional issues.
The Arkansas Supreme Court is announcing the winners of its Law Day 2019 art and essay contest. The contest was open to all Arkansas students in grades 4-12. This year’s Law Day theme called on students to reflect upon the freedoms that Americans have as part of the First Amendment.
BELMONT — The Allegany County Bar Association held its second annual Law Day Essay Contest Awards Ceremony on Friday at the Allegany County Courthouse. This year’s theme was “Free Speech. Free Press. Free Society.” Students were asked to discuss these fundamental constitutional rights in the context of present-day issues. The essay contest was open to area high school students.
Students are encouraged to enter the 2018 Austin Bar Law Day Poster and Essay Contest. The deadline for entries is Friday, March 9, 2018. The poster contest is open to students in kindergarten through 8th grade, and the essay contest is for students in 9th through 12th grade.
